The Port hosts various scavenger hunts throughout the year. Check back periodically for future scavenger hunts.

Example of past Scavenger Hunts

Beginning January 1st 2020 you can adventure throughout Garibaldi on a self-guided Scavenger Hunt. We will be holding one each month January-March 2020 and each hunt will last one month. Complete all the tasks and be entered to win a Port of Garibaldi reusable bag filled with items from local business’!

Rules

The rules are simple, to play your team must complete all the tasks on the list which will be posted in the Scavenger Hunt group the first day of each month at 9:00am. You must take pictures of said items and post them in the group, at least one team member MUST be in each picture. Once you have completed all the tasks submit your photos to the group page. You then will be entered into a drawing along with other teams who have completed all tasks for the prize of that month. Prizes will vary but will be a mixture of local business’s products. The last day of the month at 3:00pm will be the deadline to submit photos. We will draw the winner the next business day. You will be accepted in to the Facebook hunt group as soon as we have received your signed release waiver.

Eligibility

Participants must be 18+ or have a parent or legal guardian present while participating. Each team member including minors must sign and turn in a release waiver to be eligible to win. The waivers can be found at the top of this page or at the port office. If the port office is closed, there is a secured box to the left of the office door with forms. You can fill it out and put it in the secured box or return during office hours. Office hours are 9am-3:00pm (closed 12pm-1pm) Monday-Friday.
